Dan and Nikki, with their daughter Sadie, are the family behind Tandem Ciders. After years of planning and visioning, they opened the cidery in 2008. They share a love of biking, quality time with friends, and of course, cider.

Head Cider Maker

Sean is a cider fanatic (lucky for us!) and carries a diverse background in brewing and cider making. He joined the Tandem team in 2025. A local to Leelanau County, his passion for quality craft beverages is both a commitment and a joy.

Cider Club Manager

In addition to her 10+ years working in the tasting room, Danielle is a Certified Pommelier and directs and manages our Cider Club. Danielle makes a special snack for Club members on Wednesdays all year long, emblematic of her spirit of hospitality and love of cider!

On South Lake Leelanau Drive

Our team of cider makers make cider year round in our production facility located near South Lake Leelanau. Thanks to this hard working team, we can enjoy cider right here at home and around the Midwest. Catch them after hours at the Tasting Room and give them a cheers!

On Setterbo Road

Our knowledgeable, warm Tasting Room staff will greet you from behind the bar and at the window, serving up tasty cider and snacks. They are glad to answer questions about our cider, the local area, and life’s greatest questions (should I have another? Probably.).
